About the Colombo Security Conclave (CSC)
- Establishment: The Colombo Security Conclave is a regional security framework established in 2020 to promote cooperation among Indian Ocean countries in addressing shared security challenges.
- Member States: the CSC comprises India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Mauritius, Bangladesh, and Seychelles (has become the sixth member of the CSC.)
- Key Objective: Cooperation covers maritime safety and security, counter-terrorism, combating trafficking and organised crime, cybersecurity, and disaster management.
