  • Recently, the Ministry of Ayush signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the IndiaAI Mission under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to promote Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven innovation in the Ayush sector.

About the MoU

The collaboration aims to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) with India’s traditional systems of medicine to strengthen research, digital health, medicinal plants, drug administration and capacity building. It seeks to build a technology-enabled, evidence-based and future-ready Ayush ecosystem.

  • Under the MoU, the Ministry of Ayush will onboard AIKosh to share eligible health datasets, metadata, AI models, toolkits and research artefacts, enabling AI-driven innovation in traditional medicine.

About Ayush Grid

  • Ayush Grid is the flagship digital health platform of the Ministry of Ayush. It aims to create an integrated digital ecosystem for Ayush healthcare services and improve governance through digital technologies.
