- The 9th edition of the India International Water Week (IIWW) 2026 was held in New Delhi under the theme “Climate Resilient Water Management,” organised by the Ministry of Jal Shakti.
About India International Water Week (IIWW)
- Conceptualised in 2012, IIWW has evolved into a biennial platform for knowledge exchange on water management.
- The 2026 edition brings together representatives from six Union Ministries and 16 States/UTs.
- Around 150 countries have been invited, with 11 countries expected as partner countries.
- The event includes 49 focused sessions, including ministerial plenaries, a youth forum and start-up forums.
