About Multi-Domain Operations (MDO)

Recent Milestones in India’s Multi-Domain Warfare Doctrine
- HQ IDS released India’s unclassified Joint Doctrine for MDO on 27 August 2025.
- Operation Sindoor (2025, post-Pahalgam attack) is cited as India’s applied instance of multi-domain employment across land, air, sea, cyber, space and cognitive components.
