- Provides deep-strike capability against enemy troop concentrations, artillery positions, logistics depots, communication centres and military infrastructure.

- Fires 12 rockets in a single salvo in less than 44 seconds.
- A battery of 6 launchers can fire 72 rockets in 44 seconds.
- Mounted on high-mobility Tatra trucks; supports Shoot-and-Scoot operations.
- Guided variants use INS, GPS/NavIC, mid-course and terminal guidance for high precision.
- Equipped with Automated Gun Aiming and Positioning System (AGAPS) and a Computerised Fire Control System.
- Designed for all terrains, including Ladakh, the Thar Desert, and plains.
